==Description==&lt;br /&gt;
A balloon expands when the air pressure is reduced around it. A balloon in glass jar connected to a vacuum pump will expand to take the entire volume of the jar&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Equipment==&lt;br /&gt;
* Bell jar&lt;br /&gt;
* Little balloon&lt;br /&gt;
* Surface with seal and hole to the vacuum pump&lt;br /&gt;
* Vacuum pump&lt;br /&gt;
* Straw&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Instructions==&lt;br /&gt;
* Place the rubber sheet on the the circular plate and make sure the holes are aligned&lt;br /&gt;
* Place the balloon in the middle&lt;br /&gt;
* Place the bell jar on top of the balloon making sure nothing is between the rim and the rubber sheet.&lt;br /&gt;
* Connect and turn on the vacuum pump &lt;br /&gt;
