Description
A small coil connected to an oscilloscope is moved inside a bigger one connected to an alternating power supply.
Equipment
- Function generator
- Oscilloscope
- Big coil
- Small coil (probe)
Instructions
- Connect the function generator to the big coil
- Any frequency and voltage will work fine
- Connect the oscilloscope to the small coil
- (Optional) Connect the power suplly to a different channel of the oscilloscope
- Adjust the voltage scale and time scale of the oscilloscope
- Move the probe around inside and outside the coil.
